UPDATED: MAY 17, 2013 My go to session IPA. Appearance is an nice translucent orange similar to pumpkin ales and pours with a substantial head. Aroma is sweet citrus. Taste is full on citrus - no pine, with a slight bitter hop finish. An all around great IPA though the malt profile is a fairly basic caramel flavour.

When I first poured this IPA I was impressed by its beautiful color and pleasant fruity aroma, however my first taste was not so impressive as it reminded me of perfume. The texture was nice on my palette but I just could not help thinking that I just downed a bottle of my grandmothers Chanel No. 5.

pours clear red-brown type of colour with a white head that doesn’t last too too long. Aromas of citrus and bold hops create a nice mix of flavors without being too overpowering. Taste is quite bitter, with a finish that lasts. Very nice overall, it’s a nicely flavored beer that is very well balanced.

Beautiful pillowy head, fantastic lacing and great orange amber colour. Very nice IPA aromas, good citrus (lime?) right on top, with a little nuttiness from the malt beneath. Taste is a good bitter, not extremely bitter but solid for an IPA. Little bit acidic as well. Excellent palate, good and full on the first sip. The bitterness kind of explodes but fades relatively quickly. Would be nice to have it last a bit longer. Overall, great IPA, great beer.

A full flavoured, appropriately hoppy IPA with a slightly citrus undertow. Recommended! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle (355 ml). Thanks to czar! Clear orange with a nice white head, good retention, and nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus and malt/caramel with floral and strawberry notes. Taste is moderately sweet with citrus, strawberries, slight pine and malt/caramel. Moderate bitterness. Light body. Extreme drinkability.

On tap @ Alpha Soul Ottawa. Pours a clear gold with a small white head and lots of bubbling. Aromas are dominated by citrus fruit. Taste is a crisp, dry citrus that makes this a true IPA. Mouthfeel is pointed and astringent with a medium finish. Very nice IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

473 ml can. Unclear golden orange, big rocky off white head slowly settles and lasts. Fresh citrus hop aroma. Grapefruit and piney hop taste balanced nicely with sweet caramel malts. Average carbonation, light-medium bodied, moderately hopped. Well made and very enjoyable. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)
