Old bottle, I imagine this would be a bit better fresh. Lots of malt flavor in this, a bit of citrus and a bit of pine. Meh. Wouldn’t make my top 25 IPAs even fresh.

341ml bottle @El Lúpulo Feroz, Oviedo. 9-02-2014.
Pours hazy copper with white head. poor head retention, some lacing. Malty, caramel, grassy and phenolic aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, some crispy texture. Taste is malty, quite bitter, grassy, some caramel.Quite balanced and enjoyable.

473ml can from an LCBO in Toronto, ON. A hazy amber pour with a tight white head; rich citrusy aroma; gentle well-blanced taste with some citrus and a buttery malty body; and a slowly building bitterness to finish. A subtle, understated IPA that’s very easy to drink.

Poured clear medium amber with a small off white head. Aroma of pine, caramel malt. Medium body, flavour is lightly sweet, medium bitter, refreshingly hoppy.

Stellar IPA , thank you Muskoka. This brewery has had trouble finding it’s feetbut this is so very good. Oh and it screams Muskoka, fresh. crisp and and a ton of pine.

can from lcbo, aroma smells like a freshly opened pack/bail of hops. resin, spruce and a bit of malt sweetness. hazy amber/gold with nice head that subsides fairly quickly leaving nice lacing. a nice balance between sweet malt and hop bitterness. body seems to be slightly lacking somewhere in the middle. carbonic bite accentuates the bitterness. overall fantastic ipa, probably my favorite in the province. probably not as dry and hop forward as west coast versions but a wonderful beer nonetheless.

Can. Pours dark orange with a nice white head that dissolves into a thin layer. Strong hoppy aromas of spruce and citrus. Very bitter-astringent grapefruit tastes are dominant -- almost too dominant for my taste. Fine carbonation. Somewhat malty-sweet end notes. Really good IPA, but in-your-face goodness.

Draft in Toronto. Pours clear amber with off white head. Nose is grass, fruit, light hops, caramel. Flavor follows with some pine and citrus, but not a lot of hops. Coming from California, I’m surprised they even call this an IPA, more like a pale ale.

One of my favourite beers, from one of my favourite breweries. Poured from 355mL bottle into shaker. Strong citrusy aroma, hops present. Deep, dark golden colour in glass, medium white head. Heavy, bitter, hoppy (citrus) flavour with a citrus/hoppy aftertaste. Overall, a great beer for the "hop connoisseur".

Pours a deep orange, not a thick head, but a lasting lace. Not an overly intense aroma, but it makes up for it with taste. Great dry hop blast, like a punch in the face from ol’ Mad Tom. Bitter finsih, but a sweet palate early on. Great IPA.
