Bottle thanks to Boutip. Clear gold pour with white head, pretty. Aroma is quite citrusy, lots of potent hop aromas, well mingled together in a tight mat of citrusy-herbal aromas. Taste is quite well balanced, bitter but not overdone, less hops than in the aroma (a good thing!) and a good crisp malty body. Medium carbonation and medium body from this one, a very good IPA.

Fresh bottle from the LCBO. "hazy copper with 1 1/2 fingers of eggshell head and an unusual amount of lacing. Blast of Citrus hops in the nose - Grapefruit and pine all the way. Taste has more going on - Grapefruit, pine needles, orange peel, mango rinds - all about the hops but there is a nice malt backbone here. Easy to drink the entire six pack. Medium mouthfeel with decent carbonation and some creaminess - Surprising that Muskoka would be the ones to make Ontario’s most sessionable IPA. Consistent from batch to batch and my local go-to option.

UPDATED: OCT 12, 2013 Hard bitter hops with some perfume florals and lots of grapefruit citrus. Crisp bitter aftertaste and little taste of alcohol despite the high percentage. Pours clear orange with good lacing and initial head. Good base of caramelized malt. Tap.

Bottle at Craft Beer Co tasting, thanks to the Cad. It pours gold, with a thick white head. The nose is sweet tangerine, orange sherbet, grape, orange squash and hay. The taste is tangerine, orange pith, apricot, biscuit, hay and straw, with a solid bitter finish. Medium body, average carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Nice.

A craft IPA that makes me proud to be Canadian. Muskoka stepped up here and went away from the safer beers they traditionally made. They should be rewarded. Super floral scent when popped, nice pour with ample head. Bold malty taste and then a hoppy kick in the mouth. Clearly dry hopped. Try this beer is you like big IPA’s. You will not be disappointed.

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2013 Bottle at the 1st CBC Sunday Tasting. Thanks to Mad Tom. Has a lovely, rich hop mose. Some thick brea, bit of honey, lemon citrus. Medium sweet flavor, sweet bread, light straw, some zesty citrus, pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Slight oily hop finish, nice sugars, light orange, light toast. A damn fine IPA. (4.1)

Light to medium sweet flavor with mellow hops, dried pine, light orange. Light to medium bodied with average to high carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, some light jammy citrus fruits. Very pleasant. (3.7)

On tap at Sir John A Pub (Ottawa, ON). Nice amber body with low carbonation a a decent white creamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with malty, fruity and some woody hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries melon, grapefruit, and some subtle oaky notes. Ends with a long, robust bitter finish. Very well done.

gramity (1307) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 13, 2011
A golden IPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, a nice pungent hops, floral and piney, citrusy notes. In mouth, a classic IPA with smooth floral hops, lingering grapefruits bitterness, a bit harsh but overall, a well done IPA.
