3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours clear red-brown type of colour with a white head that doesn’t last too too long. Aromas of citrus and bold hops create a nice mix of flavors without being too overpowering. Taste is quite bitter, with a finish that lasts. Very nice overall, it’s a nicely flavored beer that is very well balanced.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from LCBO. Fuck, should’ve checked the BB date - got it a week ago and it’s due already. It pours a pretty opaque orange with a rather fast receding off-white head. The nose is sweet and citric, jammy, resiny and piney, juicy. Very nice, despite the due BB date. The flavour continues along the same lines: malty sweet, citric, resiny, succulent. Somewhat harsh bitter finish. Carbonation rather mellow, oily slick mouthfeel. It’s clear in the flavour that the hops have lost their freshness, but I see there’s a nice beer - I sure wish it wasn’t this old though.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
An Ontario hop classic, Mad Tom hits the mark with fresh and engaging hops and some strong balances among tastes. The hop profile is fresh and punchy, featuring pine, grapefruit, fruit rind and a splash of lemon. Sweet malt, a touch of pepper and a strong medium intensity effervescence add to the bite of the flavour, but all in proportion. Don’t change this recipe!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.341 bottle. Cloudy, amber color and a medium, creamy, yellowish head. Aroma of pines, exotic fruits, some resin, some malts, and a touch of butter. Taste is quite bitter, hoppy, piney, fruity in a sense of grapefruit-like bitterness. Medium body, slick texture, and soft carbonation. Finish is long and bitter, quite standard. Overall not a bad beer, but nothing great or surprising either.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Amber pour with a soapy white head. Nice hoppy aroma with some toffee malt. Quite a hoppy flavor, lots of citrus and some grapefruit bitterness at the finish. Fairly thick texture, not overly carbonated.
