Cloudy yellow pour with thick white head. Floral and citrus aroma. Not a smooth beer, but in this rare case, it was a good thing. Felt like I was eating the IPA rather than drinking, which for IPA lovers is a great thing. Flavor stayed with me for awhile. Goes very well with bread or salty foods

Draft in Toronto. Pours clear amber with off white head. Nose is grass, fruit, light hops, caramel. Flavor follows with some pine and citrus, but not a lot of hops. Coming from California, I’m surprised they even call this an IPA, more like a pale ale.

One of my favourite beers, from one of my favourite breweries. Poured from 355mL bottle into shaker. Strong citrusy aroma, hops present. Deep, dark golden colour in glass, medium white head. Heavy, bitter, hoppy (citrus) flavour with a citrus/hoppy aftertaste. Overall, a great beer for the "hop connoisseur".

Pours a deep orange, not a thick head, but a lasting lace. Not an overly intense aroma, but it makes up for it with taste. Great dry hop blast, like a punch in the face from ol’ Mad Tom. Bitter finsih, but a sweet palate early on. Great IPA.

She’s a solid IPA, I’d definitely take it home if it was a she! Every bit as good as the twice as mad Tom.

Very good. Surprised by the hop character. From a bottle. Good hoppy. Would recommend it to IPA fans.

Tall can. Thanks Steve! Pours a cloudy golden orange with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste is grapefruit, orange, pine, and malt. Well made milder IPA.

355ml bottle. Minimally cloudy amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of orange, lemon, some pine, biscuity malt basis. Taste is bitter and citrusy hoppy, lots of lemon, a touch of lemon tea, caramel malty basis. Nice, refreshing lemon note, easy, light and tasty, sipped away in a jiffy.

12oz bottle sampled at Mondial de la Bière, Mulhouse 2013. (thanks for the reminder, Cuso). Classic mild US IPA, almost perfect for sessioning: mellifluous pale&caramalts lay down a crisp base for the pine-inflected orange zest to flow down on. A bit of a lemongrass and citrus prickle towards a clean finish. Good stuff.//add from live notes: well-balanced to the point of oblivion. Canadian, Eh?

Bottle from my this year’s Secret Santa, many thanks robinvboyer. Orange amber color with medium white head. Nice hoppy aroma, Centennial is easily recognizable. Taste, soft malty base, followed by nice hoppy kick with grapefruit, grapefruit zest, oranges, resin. Again Centennial is again clearly evident. Long hoppy bitter finish.Tasty.

355 ml bottle.
Pours hazy orange color with a small head. Aroma of apricot, citric fruits, resinous hops and caramel malts. Flavor of pineapple, sweet fruits, resinous hops, some cardboard notes with hay. A bit out-dated but decent.
