COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Each year the tempered thaw of Muskoka winter gives rise to new and strange creations. Legends date back to the 1800’s when lumberjacks and fur traders took to the woods and ecnountered the mysterious culture and wildlife in the unknown Northern region. Today, we echo our ancestors’ quest and have unearthed this season’s most distinct offerings. The culmination of these ingredients rests in the LEGENDARY MUSKOKA SPRING ODDITY brew.

We invite you to Release The Legend.

Ingredients: Pure Muskoka Water, Heather Tips, Juniper Berries, Sweet Orange Peel Shavings, North American Malts, Noble Hops, Belgian Yeast and Belgian Candi Sugar.

UPDATED: DEC 26, 2013 Big baked banana, bready banana bread. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly soft and tingly. More dry finish. Nice light spicy, zesty, sweet taste. Light nice alcohol warmth, moderate bitter. Little pineapple juice. Very tasty stuff... Odd indeed, though

Bottle shared by drsordr at Natifest. Pours a hazy yellow golden color with a large fluffy white head that leaves good lacing. The aroma and flavor have herbs and spices, grass, some sweetness, yeast, mild fruitiness. One of the better ones picked up during his travels.

Pours a cloudy orangey/amber with a big white head that settles quickly to a small covering. Aroma is perfumy, phenols, fruity(like pears and oranges) esters, spicy, Belgian yeast and light alcohol. Flavour is much of the same: fruity esters, spicy, light alcohol balanced partially by malty sweetness, medium bitterness mixed with phenols from the Belgian yeast. We’ll done brew, fits the style and is quite enjoyable.

Easily one of my favourite beers. 2013 vintage bottle, via LCBO, in a tulip. Warm blond/coppery colour. White head that flattens out rather quickly. The palate is a full creamy mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Taste is a slightly sweet, light cream, with breadiness, and a moderate citrus. An excellent beer.

Bottle shared at Natifest ’13. Poured a hazy medium copper color with an average to large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate sour citrus, floral and yeast aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. Very good brew.

750 ml bottle from LCBO. A little taste of Belgium in cottage country. Pours an orangy colour with nice white head. Aroma is spices, orange. Taste is sweet so it makes for a very interesting formula. A very good beer.

Taster from a bottle shared at Natifest 2013. Completely hazy, darker, but light yellow color. Minimal off-white head. Bits of lace. Very nice belgian yeast character. Big baked banana, bready banana bread. Bigger body. Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation. Lightly soft and tingly. More dry finish. Nice light spicy, zesty, sweet taste. Light nice alcohol warmth, moderate bitter. Little pineapple juice. Very tasty stuff... Odd indeed, though
