3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear golden amber colour with a nice white head leaving some lace. Aromas are sweet citrus, and some pine, not overpowering. Flavours are sweet citrus, some pine, medium-high bitterness, dry finish and some pleasant lingering bitterness.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Matt got this one in a trade and was kind enough to share. +++ sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark orange-copper color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet tropical fruits and grapefruit. The flavor was dryish and very bitter with moderate tropical fruits and grapefruit. The bitterness lingers forever with some tropical fruits also sticking around. Medium body. Too bitter but some really nice elements here.

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Sir John A Pub. Very little head and didn’t pick up any aroma. Thick full body and I picked up pineapple, mango and apple flavours but no pine flavours.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
From 330ml bottle at Brother’s Beer Bistro.
Aroma: Hard time sticking out but I could find hoppy citrus accents, especially lemon.
Appearance: Pours clear with nice creamy head. Little lacing but nice and sticking well.
Taste: Hoppy with citrus and grass notes, tiny cereal notes are also in there. Mouth feel is round and unctuous; body is medium to full and malt / hop flavors are well balanced. Aroma and flavors are not complex enough but it is a very well balanced beer with a warm mouth feel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
355 mL bottle from the LCBO (Bank and Walkley, Ottawa). Poured a clear amber, with minimal head. Initial aroma was of fruit and pine. I was expecting a blast of hops, but instead it was quite mild. Nice pine and citrus hops, but not as bitter as I was hoping. Still, a pleasant beer with a solid malt backbone. The malt is warm and doughy, all in all a great beer and very drinkable!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 ml bottle (from a 4 pac) purchased at the LCBO on Rideau and King Edward (Ottawa) on January 5, 2013. Honey golden little head. Light aroma of citrus and peaches hop, a little dry. Taste of peaches and grapefruit hops quite well, not very bitter. It lacks a bit of bitterness, but it is pleasant to drink!

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Thank Matt for the bottle. Pours a clear orange-red with a bit of fine white head and some active carbonation. Smell is quite citrusy with lime, lemon, orange, some spruce, very good nose. Palate is on the lighter side of medium bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Taste is a bit sweet at first, and that sweetness lingers while the bitterness builds to quite a height and then mellows mixing with the sweetness. Aftertaste is also quite bitter. An excellent DIPA.
