Winter Weiss (Vice) was developed over a warm cabin fire, filling the void for a flavorful yet sessionable brew to enjoy during a long Winters night. This Dunkelweizen is deep brown with notes of clove and banana. Muskoka Winter Weiss partners the yeast and wheat character of a Hefeweizen with the malty richness of a Munich Dunkel. The result, a brew to enjoy all Winter long. Seasonally brewed and available in limited quantity, the perfect beer for Winter celebrations with friends. [8152-20160422] Can. Grainy sweet toasted malt aroma. Hazy, dark mahogany brown body with a medium-lasting foamy light tan head. Sweet malty toasted leaf flavour has a lingering leafy aftertaste. Medium-full body. Average. (7/3/6/3/12) 3.1-

Pours dark brown amber with a beige head.  Good aroma of roasted malts, carmel and hints of banana. Taste has same as aroma but muted. Very annoyed with this beer. Looks good, smells good, but taste just does not deliver.

2016-04-22. Dark brown body with a good sized beige head. 3++ Aroma is a mix of estery yeast, toasty malt and light caramel. Flavour has similar estery notes, lightly toasty caramel malt, light tang in the finish may be a commentary on having left this Winterweiss in the fridge until spring, but perhaps not. Average bodied palate, good carbonation. Not as much to my tastes as their regular weiss, but enjoyable. 7/4/7/3/14 Can from the LCBO, Toronto.

Bottle. Dark amber brown, off white head. Caramel and estery wheat, maybe a bit of banana. A bit bland really.

Bière rafraîchissante, peu complexe avec finale aqueuse. Une bière plutôt ordinaire.

Clearish black pour with a big head. Wheat and yeast with a touch of bread and fruit. Lighter than expected body has a fast profile and no finish. Forgetful for the style.

Looks like cola, smells strong of yeast. Very sweet, slightly grainy, heavily yeasty. Alright, but unbalanced.

Not sure this one should have "Winter" in the name. Definitely not a warming sipper, and all those banana esters make me think of a summer patio. It’s an OK wheat bier I suppose, but in February, reach for their Winter Beard instead.

Pours a dark ruby red, and a thick off white head. Aroma notes include banana, cloves, and some dark fruits. Tasting notes include banana, dried fruits, some dark malts in there also. Body is quite thin and watery for the style, decent but not spectacular.
