[4891-20121027] Cask. Light yeast and lemon notes in the aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange body with a quick bubbly head. Sour lemon zest yeast flavour has a pleasant finish. Medium body is fairly sour. Good balance. (7/3-/8/3/14) 3.5

Cask at Cask Days 2012. Twenty-second beer of the fest. Pours an orange, peach-like colour with no head. Lovely sour aroma and flavour, quite citrusy and yeasty, along with hints of spice, vinegar and apple cider. Quick to no finish. Average to medium bodied. It’s an incredibly drinkable version of the style, almost like an easy-drinking commercial Sour, in a good way.

Cask days 2012. Hazy orange pour, very small white head. Soft funky aroma, light sourness with quite a bit of fresh cut grass, and some light citrus. Low bitterness, medium sour/funk. The finish is quite dry, with slme light citrus notes.

2012-10-27. Lovely aroma, modestly funky orange citrus, lemon. 7+ Lightly hazy orange body, small beige head. 3+ Flavour is mild, very lightly sour, mild funk, fruity, bit of lemon and lemon peel, hints at sweet orange. 7+ Smooth average plus palate, very light carbonation. Very quaffable, not super assertive but pleasant and rather enjoyable. I don’t think it is, but with the citrus character this almost feels like a funked up version of Mad Tom? Cask Days 2012 at Brick Works, Toronto

Pours a dark ruby colour with very little head - on cask at Toronto’s Cask Days festival. Aroma is mild from the pour. The taste is fantastic - strong sour, with puckering tartness.
