Nothing stubborn about this donkey - in fact, it's the most willing Bitter Ass you're likely to come across. A big rounded number but nicely proportioned. Give it a slap and enjoy the ride. Everyone loves a Bitter Ass!!

Tasted Jan 07 @ Brewpub. Red amber colour, thin creamy head. Herb & floral nose. Tastes dark and rich - hard to describe. Big, full and well rounded. Another fantastic beer from what must be one of the best places in the world to drink.

on tap at the inn. Dark copper colour. Nice hoppy aroma, think it may have been Fuggles. Light to medium body with a bitterish finish, but not nearly as bitter as the sign promised.
