Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 7, 2008 (On tap) Slightly hazy amber with an off-white head leaving some laces. Exotic, spicy and enticing aroma. Medium body with light notes of caramel, exotic fruits and a dry and fairly bitter finish. Incredibly flavourful for such a light beer. 290108 omhper (10950), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 9, 2006 Updated: May 7, 2007Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy brownish amber, no head. Strong spicy aroma - I get cinnamon and ginger. Light bodied and medium sweet with rounded mouthfeel. It is rather fruity and has some late herbal bitterness. An interesting beer. TheGrandMaster (1526), Auckland, New Zealand Jun 20, 2008 Draught at Galbraiths (Auckland), a cloudy light brown with a creamy off-white head. Strong ginger aroma, with some honey and lemon. Strong ginger flavours again, on a smooth palate with a gentle floral hop kick in the finish. A sap presence, and a little grainy as well. A little bit of a let down after the long wait. sunevdj (1511), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Mar 19, 2008 On tap at the inn. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white diminishing head. Somewhat sweet with a light bitterness. Aromas of citrus, honey pineapple and resin. Hint of spruce. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish. Kaya161 (1129), Aspen, Colorado, USA May 25, 2002 This beer is fermented with manuka tips, which give the beer a medicinal, spicy aroma and herbal flavour to match. Although I’m not a huge fan of the style, it reminds me of Faroach Heather Ale.
