Pours golden and clear, thin dissipating head. Aromas of gooseberry, grass, tangelo and meringue. Initially full with loads of carbonation. Light, soft and slow to develop flavour. A tinge of bitterness and dries on the palate. Tails off herbally (roemary and chives) with freshly buttered toast. Not a full on flavour attack but pleasant. "An easy drinking lawnmower beer" quoth the brewer. Bang on.

The colour was golden amber with a moderate head. There was a crisp green hoppy aroma. The flavour had smooth ginger and biscuity malt, and medium bitter hops and dry yeasty finish. This beer had nicely balanced flavours with a crisp light bitter finish. A very pleasant beer without being outstanding.

330ml bottle. Doesn’t look too bad compared to most pale lagers. Thick merengue of white foam that leaves a good bead of lacing on the glass. Deep golden amber colour with a citrus hop aroma. A bit dry in the finish with some mild bitterness in the flavour. Overall this is pretty good for a pale lager.

330 ml bottle Aroma: Hoppy, floral; Appearance: golden brown with large head dissipating quickly leaving minimal lacing; Taste: surprisingly mild yeast with very little bitterness; Palate; medium to light body, trace of astringency, finishes quickly to a yeasty aftertaste; Overall: Not all the remarkable but a nice drop.

Pours a very transparent amber with a small head. Nose shows peachy and spicy hops with a fair bit of sweet malt (slightly grainy) and honey. Flavours are very similar, but with more grainy malt and a slightly herbal flavour that I also remember from their Captain Cooker beer (that at the time I thought was the manuka). Very light bitterness. Light body with carbonation that really could be higher.

1.25L Rigger. Pours slightly hazy gold with a white head that quickly disappears. Hoppy nose with notes of honey, malt and caramel. Flavour is much the same with hoppy bitterness up front giving way to sweetness on the back palate. Very aromatic and flavoursome for a lager, could be a little bigger but still very good. Not too sure about the big plastic bottle though.

1.25L rigger. Pours golden with a medium white head that lingered. Pleasant aroma and flavour of biscuit, fruit and honey. Clean mouthfeel. Light hoppy bitterness is the finish. Extremely drinkable. A lager that’s actually hard to flaw...how about that.

1.25L rigger from Rumbles. Pours bright golden, white head.
Quite a hoppy aroma, very lemony, reminds me of radler almost.
Tastes crisp, grapefruity hops with a honey like sweetness mid palate. Finish is quite bitter and hoppy.
A crisp, refreshing & interesting lager.

Small white head that thins quickly. Light golden in colour. Slight biscuity malt with delicate lemon hop nose. Nice and creamy rich in the mouth and a very clean finish with hints of bitterness and sweetness from the malt. A good pale lager I’d drink again
