yalnikim (647), Wellington, New Zealand Feb 17, 2008 Tasted 31/01/2008. Bottle direct from the brewery, courtesy of Papsoe. Pours gold with a slight haze, a disappearing head and a light lace. Green chilli and a little ginger dominate the nose, with an underlying note of lolly-like malt. Sweet malt and hot chilli dominate the mouth, and a low carbonation level really allows the chilli to really show its hand. My sinus tickles just reminiscing about this one. The best commercial chilli beer I’ve had thus far - but that’s not even close to saying I’d buy it for anything other than a laugh. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 11, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Very peppery aroma. Rather light in body completely dominated by the spicy and HOT chili that completely numbs your palate. Oh dear - why? 310108
