greig (72), Hamilton, New Zealand Oct 28, 2008 I love this beer. Extremely refreshing gueuze and totally suited to the feijoa fruiting. Nose is musty with feijoa dominant, flavour is bitingly acidic, with more feijoa, lemons, wintergreen, and grass. Palate slightly thin, but satisfying. I could drink this all day, in the sun. donfardz64 (144), Wellington, New Zealand Sep 10, 2008 Pours cloudy golden. Aromas of feijoa, that’s about it. Flavour is quite sour, feijoa dominates the flavour. Dry finishing. A good Geuze. sunevdj (1511), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Mar 19, 2008 Bottle at the inn. Pours a murky greyish yellow with a small whitre head. Sweet with a moderate acidity and a slight bitterness. Sour aromas of resin, leather and citrus fruits. Also feijoa, sour apples and wood. Hint of mint. Medium bodied. Slick mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. Short dry finish with lingereing hints of feijoa. Good.
