(On tap) In their own beer menu description this is called a "Crystal Weizen". Almost clear, pale golden with a small, white head leaving some lacing. Very delicate and sophisticated aroma from the Sauvin hops - I think I can actually smell some Sauvignon Blanc here - is that where the hops got their name from? Medium body with a dry malt base and a fairly bitter finish. 290108

500ml bottle @ the bar. Bottle conditioned. Pale straw gold. Marmalade and a touch of wheat on the nose. The flavours are balanced & very subtle. Buttery, vanilla with the wheat not too pushy. Deft.
