Neither a Czech dark lager nor a German Schwartz. Less sweet than many on the Czech side, and more bitter than many on the German size. Actually quite a nice refreshing beer. Richly roasted malts, some hint of coffee. Slips down easily on a warm day. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 6, 2002 Very tasteless dark lager. Far too thin and slightly sweetish. No must have.
Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 9, 2001 Somewhat thin body and palate. Ok coffeeish and dark malt flavours, but not the best dark lager in Finland by any means. A rival to Koff Velvet. The name means ’Black Horse’.
