Our Winter Lager seasonal went over so well in 2011 that we decided to make a year-round beer! Route 66 is a traditional, amber lager brewed with four types of barley, Hallertauer and Willamette hops giving it a crisp, malty finish. 5.0% ABV and 18 IBU’s. Available only in bottles and on draft at select locations. Go here to find out where!

Draft - Light sweet grains. Pale gold with a rich white head. Sweet pale malts with a dry finish. Pretty nondescript and bland, but better than most.

With a quickly diminishing head and very light amber coloring, this brew does not impress from word one, but is a solid entry in the amber lager category. Solid malt backbone aids in balancing the hop character that is admittedly more robust than your standard amber (which I consider a plus). Overly effervescent, i do t see how this was ever a winter seasonal, but matches well with the early days of summer. A malty, clean finish closes out the brew. Great for when you want something with more interest but the clean finish you want in the high summer days of the south. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - pours light copper with an average head. Has a sweet aroma and a sweet champagne taste. Some biscuit flavor. Malty backbone and a medium mouthfeel.

Amber red with a fluffy white head, solid retention and nice lace. Caramel malt aromas with hints of grass and toast. Sweetish flavor profile, mostly from the caramel, biscuit notes and light bitterness. Light to medium body, generous effervescence, prickly mouthfeel and a dry, crisp finish.

Amber pour into pint glass. Earthey and floral in the nose. Nice caramel backbone with a slight earthy bitterness. A hint of fruit in the finish. Has a crisp finish and goes down smooth and refreshing.

Beer of month club. Pours an ice tea color. Nose is malt. Taste is all caramel malt - some sweetness. This is a really simple beer - it's not bad, but very basic. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A light amber body with a white head that faded away quickly. Elevated level of carbonation present. Aroma was a mix of caramel and corn, flavor was too. Light palate. Really not much going on, but not a bad beer.

My new everyday beer. A favorite among all my friends. Very easy to drink with lots of flavor. Not too strong or hoppy.
