Hachitsuru was a delightful namasake, tasted head-to-head with Ice Dome Sake. Hachitsuru was far better, because it was fragrant like a perfume and the alcohol was barely noticeable, despite being almost 16%. Bubble gum and cotton candy come to mind when drinking this sake. Plenty of sweetness. Typical namasake flavor profile, making me love the style even more.

(sampled 3/23/04) Looks like a sake. Aroma is faint -- plum and alcohol. Taste is sweet alcohol, plum, orange. FInishes with a definite alcohol warm/burn.
