austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Aug 29, 2005 Hachitsuru was a delightful namasake, tasted head-to-head with Ice Dome Sake. Hachitsuru was far better, because it was fragrant like a perfume and the alcohol was barely noticeable, despite being almost 16%. Bubble gum and cotton candy come to mind when drinking this sake. Plenty of sweetness. Typical namasake flavor profile, making me love the style even more. argo0 (6289), Washington DC, USA May 14, 2005 (sampled 3/23/04) Looks like a sake. Aroma is faint -- plum and alcohol. Taste is sweet alcohol, plum, orange. FInishes with a definite alcohol warm/burn.
