Bottle - Pale fizzy lager, with notes of corn and hay. By craft standards horrible, but my favorite beer in the DRC.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beiige head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry finish.

bdunhill (244) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 28, 2012
This Rwanda beer brewed by Bralirwa (but owned by Heineken) reminds me in many ways of a Heneken. It has a familiar lager aroma with a nice clear poor and large frothy head that evaporates quickly. The sharp bitter taste on the tongue dwindles down on the tip of your tongue and leaves you with a long finish. This is certainly an every mans beer.

Aroma is tin and corn, it has decent head and a modestly appetizing yellow body. Flavours is aduncts, malts, citrus. Decent palate. Boring, but drinkable.

Drank this in Kigali, Rwanda at the Milles Collines (hotel rwanda). It was light, pretty much what you’d expect here, but it did taste pretty refreshing in context. Worked fine with a pretty crisp flavor, just not much to it.

Bottle in Brussels. Light amber golden body with puffy lager head. Nose of sweet corn. Taste is malty, corn, watery. Not bad at all. Fair enough.
