COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
La Levalloise is an aromatic craft-brewed pale ale with a citrus nose and firm hop bitterness. It is named after the town of Levallois-Perret where all our beers are created in our small 5th floor brewery. The Citroen 2 CV pictured on the label is an homage to another fine product of Levallois were it was produced for 40 years. Our friends at Brasserie de Chevreuse have invited us to work with them to allow us to share the beer we love with a broader audience.

Nice hops, hints of citrus and fair bitterness : not too strong but very refreshing. This beer is one of the flagships of the emerging Paris’ craft been scene. Thanks for making this real.

Had a bottle of this during Paris beer week at the Pure Malt. A really solid pale ale. Aromatic, nice amount of carbonation, fruit flavors with a nive touch of bitterness. Smooth finish. Would definitely drink again!

33cl BB 08/2014 from Cave à Bulles, Paris. Lovely 2Chevaux label matches upfront exotic hop-perfume assault: the fresh peach-pineapple aroma is where the true investment is, the body is pale malt light, with a caramel touch (sugar added for 5.7% ABv?). A pleasant FR-APA crowd pleaser, apart maybe from the price Paris will make you shell out for it...

On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris on 28th November 2013. Crystal clear copper with thin decaying off-white ring and film plus scant lacing. Herby aroma with earthy pungency and sweet malts. Berry fruits in-mouth with rich herbs, spices and caramel malts. Caramel malty finish with upper-mouth grassiness. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Well crafted.

Aromatic hops, grassy, fresh leaves and spruce. A very ’Fresh’ aroma too, must be the yeast. Fairly high carnonation, but it matches the beer (style). Medium bitter, bit simple in terms of taste. Enjoyable brew. (Cold 33cl bottle form La Cave à Bulles)
