Light amber to golden body, misty. Bacony smoked malts yet not only a smoked beer. Toasty malts too. Dry grass, pineapple skin. Dry leaves. Pleasant active carbonation, smoothing out in the end. Light bitterness, meaty malt feel. I do really like the end result. Without being very special it just sips very nicely indeed. Perhaps I am a sucker for lightly spiced and hopped blond smokey beers. (33cl bottle from A la bičre comme ŕ la bičre)

Smaskifa (122) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 28, 2013
Bottle from la cave a bulles, Paris. Pours a quite pleasant looking dark yellow to yellow ocher colour, medium white head. The aroma is, for me, dominated by the smell of a yeast dough after an hour or so of fermentation. You can also clearly pick up a light smokey aroma, as well as hints of exotic fruit. The taste is fresh, a slight hint of smoke, but hardly noticeable. There’s some fruity notes in there, a little yeast, and a slightly hoppy finish. Decent and refreshing beer which would be better suited for a warm summer day than a windy winter night.

Countbeer (4387) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - DEC 27, 2012
Bottle: Medium vast but airy and slow disappearing ashy white head on top of a hazy orange colored beer. Smell lots of fruit, apricot, peach, mango, some glue that lightly comes through, hints of malts and yeast. Taste also lots of fruit, again peach and apricot, some exotic fruits, some bitters, grains, porridge, yeast and malts. Aftertaste has lots of grains, some porridge, malts, yeast and light bitters. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture.
