Moderate sweet and light bitter flavor. Average finish. oily palate. Nice experiment this beer is brewed without hopps, only pine is used.
fonefan (4062), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 3, 2008 Draught @ Ølfestival Aarhus 2008. Light unclear amber color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, pine needles, spruce. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Perfumed aroma of spruce. Sweet and malty flavour with a sour note. Maria (3816), Thisted, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Dark brown with a red hue and a nice, creamy head. It’s brewed without any hops, that has been replaced with pine needles and spruce. The aroma has slightly perfumes notes of pine, just like the flavour. It has a full-bodies, smooth, mellow and harmonic sweetness and loads of roasted malt. Aroma and taste are complex with spices, malt and pine. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 25, 2008 Århus2008. From tap. Pours hazy dark brown with a huge tan head. Fruity and mild spiced aroma. Flavour is fruity with a mild citrusy twist. Light spiced flavour into the finish with a subdued malt base. Medium sweet finish. Solid and clean.
