Very sweet and classic stout. Taste with dominant toffie and caramel sweetnees, hints of liquorice. Appears brown with fast disapearing head. Overall a little too weak of a stout for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Shared with Finn and djoeye. Tan-coloured head leaving crocheted lacing behind. Opaque rosewood coloured body. Cocoa and dough on the nose. Cocoa, milk chocolate and earthy malts to the flavour character followed by a roasted malty round off. Medium bodied. Decent (Tromsø 01.02.2016).

Flaske 500ml spandert av Skinnyviking. Delt med djoeye & Rune i WCveien 1 Feb 15. Ultramørk amber. Lavt, litt farget skum med farge. Tynn lacing. Utmerket sjokoladearoma. Smaken sjokolade & kakao. Behagelig øl. I søteste laget - men godt.

Taste; caramel, cocoa juice, chocolate in leaves - finishes with the juicy dark-fruit basket. Palate; good n juicy. Overall; a good stout on five! Bottle at home. Low but lastin creamy off-white head. Very dark red brown body. Solid roasted malt coffee liquorice caramel aroma. Heavily carbonated roasted malt coffee luqorice flavor with a slightly sour note. Fair amount of hops bitterness. Short finish.

TorbenJensen (1439) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2015
The aroma is coffee and nothing else, apart from anything hard roasted malt. The flavor is coffee with light touches of English licorice, while some water and partially hops left aftertaste follows. It belongs certainly not the best stouts I have tasted, conversely, I think it tastes good, based on its (only) 5.0% alcohol.

*Old rating from 2011.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark brown body. Earthy roasty outdoor toilet (yes, really, though not the worst aspects, just the earthy musky bit) aroma with mealy notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy mineraly taste with caramelly licorice notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy roasty mineraly aftertaste with sooty caramel notes. Nice, drinkable, has admirable aspects, but ultimately fails to please. (0.5l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle. Pours nice with an airy, light brown head. The nose is indistinguishable, but reminds me a little of cat piss. A little toasted malt after that. It's a thin and slightly bitter stout. I wish I'd never tasted it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
