Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Meilby. Dark brown, almost black with a fast disappearing beige head. Aroma of light smoked, dark malt and chocolate. Flavor is relatively sweet, mild roasted malt with a hint of liquorices, some chocolate and mild coffee. Medium body. Nice flavors, but everything seem to be mild and light. Decent but rather anonymous.

Bottle, courtesy of Meilby. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some grains, flour and roasted notes. Flavor is sweet and somewhat roasted with some chocolate, fruitiness and malt. Medium to thin body, average carbonation.

Malzig-getreidiger, deutlich röstiger Antrunk. Wenig säuerlich, die Malzigkeit ist führend, ein Mittelweg zwischen Röstaromen und Süffigkeit ist gefunden, das Bier ist so wunderbar abgestimmt. Süffiger wird das Bier, wenn im hinteren Mittelteil eine dezente Süße hinzukommt, die aber aromentechnisch wenig zu bieten hat, wohl aber die Röstigkeit mindert. Zum Ende etwas nussig, eine Spur zitronig. Leckeres Stout, gerne noch eine Spur malziger! 8/10/11/11/12/11

Bottle. Pours black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is sweet malt, light roast, tobacco and toasted caramel. The flavour is light roast, light liquorice, light chocolate, caramel and light coffee. Bit thin.
