Adelaide Sparkling Ale. Our version of this Australian take on British Ordinary Bitter, with a light, malty body, and the bright, tropical fruit guava/mango finish of Pacific Jade hops.

On tap at Tylerís, Carrboro. Mystery seems, on the basis of the two beers Iíve had most recently, creeping upwards toward mediocrity. Decent looking pour, almost cider-like amber with big bubbles. Nose of healthy ripe fruit and floral hops. Body was medium, a bit of a weak mouthfeel. Flavors suggest more autumnal fruits than tropical, but more of an overall sweetness that actually ends up like a slightly less tart shandy. Okay.

Tap at Tylers Carrboro. Light hazy amber with little to no head. Nose shows some apple and pear, earth, light bitterness. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter. A little watery but not offputting like some offerings I have had from this brewer.

Pours clear amber. Smells like caramel. Lightly hopped and fruity. Very prickly light bodied and effervescent. Good hot weather quencher.

Clearish-pale orange color with a little bit of head. Aroma was floral, grapefruit and orange. The taste followed, with a little bit more of bite and slight malt body. Iíve never had an ordinary bitter, so I canít really compare with much. Seemed more of a full flavored citrusy IPA with a bubbly mouthfeel than a bitter as such. Very drinkable and tasty any way you slice it.
