A light, sweet, traditional Scottish-style ale, made with floor-malted British malt, a titch of Caramel malt, a touch of roasted barley, and the barest wisp of smoked malt along with traditional British hops, and Scottish ale yeast. An easy-drinking light dark beer for winter.

Pours a clean ruby copper with a thin off white head. Notes of caramel and raisin with a touch of earthy/leafy aromatics. Some bready notes and a biscuity character. First problem is the body, falls out. Almost still/thin. Very mild bite. Malt dominant and a tad singular. Bready/biscuity with some caramel.

Growler. Pours a very dark brown with almost no head on it. Nose is rather sweet and malty with a touch of caramel in there. Taste is much the same, with the addition of a little toastiness. Very light and thin feeling.
