Draft @ Sunset Grill and tap. Tulip shows unclear gold with a thick cap of white head. Aromas of Belgian yeast and fruit phenols. Light residual sugar, wheat, lightly spicy yeast and very light hop bitterness. Lots of flavor in a very light body. Tasty saison which was a very nice pick for my 50th rating in the style. I would drink this again! Much better than this brewery’s Three Cranes.

Bottle from Julios. Pours out a cloudy light yellow-orange. Thin head and low carbonation. Wonderful fruity and yeasty aromas and flavors. Some pear, slight citrus. Some bread. Very smooth and drinkable. Another excellent brew from Mystic!

Provided to me via the lovely Mrs mixylplik3, thanks for the opportunity.
Opens with a huge pop and displays what seems to be the Mystic signature level of carbonation. After the foam settles I’m left with half a glass of light golden beer with a ton of sticky white lace on the sides of the glass. Smell is spicy and fruity. Pepper, green apple, and lemon mixed with a bit of yeasty bits and candy sugar. Wow this doesn’t seem as dry or as spicy as the nose was leading me to believe. Sweet sugary honey malt with bits of candy sugar and green apple. Slightly bready almost crackery bits with some pepper and coriander mixed in for flavor. Medium to thin body with a raucous level of carbonation and a sweet almost sugary mouthfeel. Seems drier and a bit spicier than the regular version. Both are great saisons, but I enjoyed this one a little bit more.

Pours hazy gold into a tulip. Bright white micro head with excellent retention meringues as it recedes. Sweet lemon and dusty earth aromas. Dry with sweet bread and hay upfront turning slightly tart in the lasting lemon meringue finish.
