Dark fruit, wood, booze, malt. Pours a cloudy murky dark caramel brown with debris and stuff. Thin quickly fading light tan head. Sweet and tangy. Smooth velvety mouthfeel with a hint of effervescence. Lots of flavor. Lots of bourbon. Lots of warmth in the throat. This is a wonderful beer.

ClubGonzo (3995) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen. Pours a dark, near-black mahogany brown body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is raisins, port wine, dates, brown sugar and hints of husky tannins, alcohol and caramel. Taste is metallic sugary raisin tones, dates and hints of toffee, caramel and port wine. Full body, high carbonation. Not too bad, but I’ve had far better quads.

pour is extreamly dark amber to brown. strong aroma of spices. fairly light bodied but lots of flavors. spices, toffee, cheery, maybe some orange zest, very sweet. high ABV is hardly noticed with the smooth flavors. impressed with this one ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Theydon_Bois (8392) - The ’Sham, Surrey, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2014
Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 2 - 01/03/14. Murky mahogony brown with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is bitter fruits, boozey pangs, woody, rich toffee, light spice. Taste comprises ripe fruits, light tropicana, caramelised pineapple chunks, dark toffee, light spice, boozey pangs, caramelised sugars, hoppy backnoes. Full bodied, fine carbonation, sweet closure with a trace of booze. Ok stuff, Americanised hoppy twist so not too true to style.
