Had on tap at Three Penny. $8 for the full serving. To tulip, Pours a hazy yellowish-orange with which a white-ringed head 1 finger in length stood. Aromas of melon rind, candied citrus, noble hops, cotton, wheat grain, chrysanthemum, and copper. Tastes the same with the addition of krill oil, Bible paper, pink peppercorn, lemon seeds, and farmhouse yeast by swallow. Probably my favorite Mystic beer, but by all means not a masterpiece. Would have again, but wouldn’t be overexcited to do so.

Bottle courtesy of Jay at Max’s. Pours a light body with thin white lacing. Aroma is lightly funky lemon, spice, light grain and yeast. Mouthfeel is medium and nicely balanced with notes of lemon funk, citrus fruits, light grain, flowers and spicy yeast. Nice saison.

Bottle that I took to Max’s tasting. Pours a hazed amber with a medium to large white head. Big musk with a bit of spicy citrus and lemon. Medium-bodied, spicy musk, nice malt note, chewy musk, and wheat. Another beautiful saison from Mystic.

Bomber. Pours a hazy gold with a foamy, clean white head. Lots of lacing. Aromas of citrus, spice, yeast, and pine. Flavor is like a hoppy saison. Citrus, pine, spice, light bread- more bitter than sweet. Light, fizzy, crisp.

Bottle (thanks to goodbyeohio for sharing)... Poured hazy, amber/copper golden with an easy forming head. Awesome grassy, earthy, resinous hopped nose along with yeast spices. Tasted great. A nice yeasty saison with an added hop character to kick things up a notch. I love Sorachi Ace hops and they work so well with this style. Soft mouthfeel was a nice start for the grassy earthy tones of the hops. Could drink this stuff all day.

Pours a hazy straw color with a big white foam. The nose is grassy yeasty and earthy doughy malt. The palate is balanced with some fruity esters, bitter grassy notes, peppered spice and a light maltiness. Refreshing but slightly creamy and under carbonated on the mouthfeel.
