3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a first, 12.68 oz c&c bottle, hmmm looks like the RR and Lost Abbey bottles, have they been misleading us? Either way poured into a plastic hotel cup because I am in a hotel in Woburn, MA. Big pop of the cork with an all head pour, stupid plastic cup. After a few tries I get beer in there. Thick medium clarity dull golden colour (yeah, I am going Canadian on this one) with a pillow of cloudy foam. Thick ass lacing. I will take Dany’s line and say this is a "comfortable" saison. Its good on all accounts but a little too much esters, just a tad too sweet, at times a tad blunted as well. But the nose has a nice rustic character and pretty straight forward saison. But I am in Pretty Things country, so I need some more jena se qua from my saisons.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle courtesy of Paul. Pours a hazy golden peach body with huge thick white head. Aroma is super clean yeast and light spice. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of pepper, spice, wheat and fruity yeast. Not a huge fan of the fruity yeast character, but still a nice saison.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
750 ml bottle shared by CanIHave4Beers at RBSG, up in the Prez Suite. He was boasting about the MJ/Silligoose Seal of Approval for this one. Big deal in these parts. It pours a pale, semi-cloudy yellow gold with a white head. Big farmhouse funk throughout, with light florals, bread and dough, grass, straw. Some faint spice and herbs, and good crackery pils hidden in there, too. Light-bodied, with a dry mouthfeel and medium carbonation. I’d probably like this more outside the context of a massive tasting. So I’ll revisit. But as it stands, I like it a lot.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Batch 009 - Pours clear bright yellow with a large snow white head. The aroma has hay, spice, pale malt, light nectar fruit, some cellar must and modest sweetness. It has a medium body that is ultra crisp and has lots of prickly carbonation. The flavor begins with lots of peppery saaz spiciness, semi-sweet malt and earthy saison yeast. The finish has some sulfur and crackers. Nice saison.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
808s n FartRates review #3
Pours a pale yellow with a good head and good lacing on the glass.
The aroma is earthy with a good wet limestone character. It’s got a nice bit of hoppiness to it as well.
The beer is nicely bitter, very dry & earthy but not without a touch of fruitiness. The hop level is nice and provides a herbal character that’s well balanced with what’s going on malt & fermentation wise.
Dig it lots.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Shared at RBSG 2014 in the Presidential Suite. Nose is grassy and lemon. Taste is rather crisp and bready, very light and not much going on. A ton of carbonation and a tad tough to drink due to that. ok I guess.
