Bottle: Poured a reddish brown with a beige medium head. Aroma is a bit bitter with grain, malt, and caramel. The taste is sweet caramel malt very sugary. The finish is dry and fruity (plum possible).

Clear amber color, decent cloudy off-white head. Cardboardish, ashy, grassy, caramelly aroma. Caramelly with grassy and papery flavor. Typical low-quality Vienna. This bottle was a bit past its prime.

Aug 24, 2008 Bottled (thanks brunnsbe!). Reddish amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is caramel malts, weird sweetness and some toffeeish diacetyl. Flavour is sweet malts, mild acidicness and some fudge. Quite papery notes too.

Jun 23, 2008 Bottle from Crete, thanks to Søren. dark amber red colour with a medium white head. Aroma and taste of sweet caramellic malts and a bit fruit. A bit czech style hoppy nose. Reasonable balanced with a nice sweet plum mouthfeel.
