2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Can at the Athens airport. Pours crystal clear yellow, lightly effervescent with a fine, foamy white head. The nose has simple cereal, sugary white brad, hay, grains. Medium sweet flavor with sugary, grainy malts, some white bread, wet hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sticky sweet finish, some white bread, white sugar, faint straw, cereal, grain. Classic cheap pale lager. Really fires on all cylinders.

Looks great, horrible taste, rack it up with the cheap no name brand beer. No redeeming features, many other European beers to choose over this.

Be warned. This product is brewed elsewhere. It is part of Carlsburg after all. The original, which I have rated is brewed in Greece and is 5%. Most so called Mythos available elsewhere is only 4.7% and is a bland euro beer. Carlsburg is ripping us off......dont drink it. Go to Greece.

UPDATED: JUN 19, 2014 Review: Can of Mythos pale lager 4.7% ABV
Another surprise, never thought I would be loving a Greek beer, but this is a good smooth and refreshingly tasty beer.
Appearance is good, a nice clear pale yellow beer with a nice head developing but it does dissipate quickly. Good lacing though.
No clear smell was found, maybe slightly sweet and a small hint of cooked corn and grassy hops.
Taste was sweet, no bitterness, was fairly smooth to drink, and a teeny bit strong too. Recommended.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Well as I am getting settled into a long term stay in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, I’ve noticed that this seems to be a popular choice of "table beer" among the locals, and figured I’d give it a try. This Greek import, usually sold in half-liter bottles, pours a good golden color with a full white head. The aroma is a bit pungent, but not industrial, grainy and malty. Taste is pale malt and grain with grassy hop flavors, has a sweet crisp finish and mildly bitter aftertaste. Not impressive overall, but has more substance than other pale lagers. Recommended over other European export lagers.

Clear golden with a white head. Aroma and taste of malt, grass, light fruit and some herbs. Drinkable but not that exciting.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Rehills Newcastle. Light gold colour, grassy, sweet, unsurprisingly less enjoyable in the rain in Gateshead than by a Rhodes pool.
