The most famous Hellenic beer. With the rich head, bright golden colour, and pleasant refreshing taste, Mythos guarantees pleasure in every occasion. With its excellent product quality and its genuine, unconventional brand personality, Mythos is now one of the top three beer brands in the Greek market.

The Persians are invading Greece? THIS IS MYTHOS! Anddddddddd it’s only barely okay. It’s a clean and crisp lager surely designed to keep you slightly drunk but also refreshed to do battle. Very mellow citrus hops pitted to death against some cereal and bread malts. Who wins? The warrior-drinker, but only if it is a scorcher out.

From a 330ml can. No where near as bad as I had expected. Surprisingly smooth with a touch of bitterness. Not great by any means but bit terrible.

Bottle at the.Alcanea hotel, Crete. Clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and crisp. Clean dry pale malts. Reasonable citric tang underneath. Mild noble hop bitterness. Dry crisp finish. Overall a slightly sweet lager but pretty clean and refreshing. Became my goto beer in Crete. Don’t understand or agree with all these low ratings!

Can 0,33L. Clear golden colour with lively visible carbonation and fothy, white head, that dissipate fast. Malty aroma of light bread, grain and vanilla. Taste starts moderate bitter with some grassy hops bitterness and it finished the same way. There is a lot of bitterness in taste and I really like this fact. Good summer thirst quencher...

At Artopolis. Typical Euro lager tastes like a not quite as good version of Heineken. Sweeter and maltier than hoppy.. Serving: Bottle

Bottle. Pours in clear yellow with nice head. Aroma is sweet, grainy, not very much at least. Taste is sweet and sour, but not very impressive, watery. Carbonation is fresh, mouth feeling thin and watery. It´s been a try of greek beer, I´ve never thought about it, because the Hellenes are better known for their wine, and they should stay with that.

Yep, Mythos kind of sucks. The cereal aroma is a bit skunky, the appearance is a pale shade of straw with a fizzy head, and the flavor is more than a little metallic metallic. My delicious Greek meal deserved better than this.

0,3l Flasche. Gelbes Bier, kaum Schaum. Riecht leicht nach Getreide, schmeckt süßlich, leicht nach citrus. Noch ein bischen süßer und es könnte ein Radler sein.

Bottle at Greek restaurant. Pours clear pale yellow. Sharp lager aroma of hay and honey. Taste is fine, refreshing after a hit bike ride. Sweet with hay taste. Light body. Perfectly acceptable lager, nothing special.
