Bottle. Pale blond pour with a receding fizzy white head. Nose is sweetened cereal with grains and light grass. Taste is light bitter hops, unrefined grains, and softer cereal notes. Body is light-medium with lots of carbonation fizz. Ends with more cereal, grassy hops, and sweet malts. Not as bad as I was predicting.

Bottle. Nice beer to a hot day. Nice white head that disappear quicly, clear yellow like almost all lager. Aroma is barley malt, good... A little bitter at finish.. Cerveja clara, boa para dias quentes, refrescante, pouco amarga, espuma que some rápido e aroma de cevada muito bom.

Nice golden colour, great head. Very little taste, kind of watery. Lots of carbonation, and a slightly bitter aftertaste. Wouldn’t buy this beer again, but it was nice nonetheless.

The aroma is simple and without skunk, (which is uncommon for a green bottle beer) it’s just cereal grain, paper, and light hops. The appearance is pale gold with a nice foamy head. The flavor is malty and moderately bitter. The palate is smooth for a lager with a soapy, grainy finish. Overall it’s not hard to drink but it’s quite unremarkable.

Bouteille.

Bottle. Clear yellow / pale color with a average fizzy fair lacing mostly diminshing white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light bread, toasted. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft.

Light yellow color, decent head. Skunky, light hops. It must be the Greek Heineken.

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2007 bottle: There’s just nothing here. Not a premium lager, more like a pale lager with no hops bite or malts to speak of. Finish is almost sour or some taste of lemon. Just totally lacks personality. Still, this is smoother than most Labatt/Molson/Coors macro crap you’re gonna be offered. Reminds me of a watered down Tusker. Drink this baby really cold & really fast, because when it warms, it’s gonna taste really limp.

Got this one bottled at a Greek Restaurant in St. Charles, Illinois. Bright yellow pour with a very thick, bubbly white head, skunky nose, slight taste of aluminum pie pan with some sour malts. Finished clean. More or less inoffensive, although I’d never seek it out.
