Skunky green bottle nose and a touch of malt sweetness and wet paper. Faint bready, buttery, flavors. Light hoppy finish. Again, skunk carries into the taste. Blah..

Bottle. Apple aroma, this beer really smells! Dusty flavor with cardboard and apple. Desperately bland.

Bottle. (Not really looking forward to this. It just happened to be the only beer at that pub that I hadnít tried before.) Pours a boring, clear gold, with a tiny white head. Aroma is, as expected, of the typical pale lager kind, albeit somewhat sweeter than average. Perhaps some maize? The flavor, likewise, is rather sweet and malty. Not in a bad way, really, although I think I sense a faint hint of diacethyl and maize. Hmm. Yet, somehow, itís really drinkable enough. Body is obviously on the light side (could be worse though), with a clean mouthfeel, and fairly soft but fresh carbonation. So, strangely enough, despite the faint hint of diacethyl, and the obvious cheapness of the brew as a whole, I find myself rather enjoying this beer. Iím sure it would be excellent on a hot summer day. Not too bad for a cheap bulk lager. At least itís got some personality.

Golden and as expected faiirly bland. No carbonation and not much taste.Having said this if I was supping it on a warm evening in Greece it would seem quite refreshing. But I wasnít.

I was going to say this was typical watery, anonymous pale gold eurolager until I noticed an interesting yeasty taste that almost makes you think youíre about to experience the taste of a Belgian tripel. But youíre not. So donít get excited.

Can in Amsterdam. Yellow color. Watery and yellow color. Very little taste. Really very water-based. Quite smooth, if nothing else.

Bottled. Clear, pale golden beer with a white head. The aroma has grass, hay, some fruity and malt. It has a weak flavor with malt and hops. It has a medium to thin mouthfeel and a finish with some hops. Actually surprisingly hoppy for a Mediterranean lager. I have downed liters of this, but as expected it tasted better on Crete then at home. (070106)

50 cL bottle. Pours clear yellow with creamy head. Has aroma of hops and corn. Malt sweetness with slight elements of caramel. Yeast is present to and gives this beer its own distinct taste. Iíve had this several times in Athens and it surely works best on a warm afternoon. Good lager, underrated!
