Närke Örebro Bitter

An amber beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is hoppy - my guess is Goldings, which gives it a slight dusty flavor.

Draught at Ardbeg Room, Stockholm. Dark copper colour, rich firm head. Juicy grapefruity hop aroma. Sweet and richly malty, some cookie malt, near full bodied. The mouthfeel is on the clean side. It’s very hoppy, but has sufficient malt to balance it. Very bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, dark amber with a small, off-white head. The typical, fresh Närke aromatic, hoppy nose. Light caramel malt but almost drowned by an overwhelming bitterness. This one was not in balance in my humble opinion. 120805

Bottle. Brown colour with a baige head. Malty barnyard hoppy aroma and a hay bitter taste. Medium body and a light bitter dry finish. 5-3-5-3-12 Re-Rate. Draught at den Tatoverede Enke. Dark amber colour with a huge beautyfull beige head. Sweet malty, fruity aroma and taste. Medium body with a sweet bitter dry finish. 6-5-7-3-15

Bottled at RBESG 2005. Cloudy orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of hops and pine needles. Flavour of malts, hops and pine needles. Nice ESB.
