omhper (10438), Stockholm, Sweden Jan 25, 2008 Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Powerful hoppy lychee aroma. Medium sweet with solid body. Velvetty soft malt together with cottony, seemless aromatic hops. Long very bitter finish. Regardless if this was a mistake or not it’s just a superb, wonderful beer. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 18, 2008 Draught at Rover, Göteborg Hazy orange-copper color; there is a persistent layer, creamy. It has a wonderful hoppy aroma, fruity, sweet, flowery; after a few minutes it develops a more evident apricot aroma too, apricot jam and other perfumy yellow fruits (dry hopped with Cascade). It has a medium body strength and a very smooth mouthfeel; there must be a strong toffee flavor, but it’s just swept away by the extreme hopping, that gives highest bitterness, fruits and some resins. Technically, it’s unbalanced, but so good… oh6gdx (5857), Vaasa, Finland Feb 23, 2008 Draught. Amber colour, big beige creamy head. Aroma is sweet fruity and flowery hops with some caramel also coming in. Flavour is big fruityness, some mild grass and tropical fruity notes. Really wellbalanced and pleasant. Pale, a bit hazy, yellow color, small white head. Cut grass hoppy aroma. Pale malty. Cut fresh grass flavor - lingering hoppyness. Light buttery notes. Long bitterness. Refreshing. Närke makes really interesting beers, this one has really interesting name ... sayravai (3045), Helsinki, Finland Jul 26, 2008 (Draught@SOPP, Helsinki) Hazy golden with a small head. Very citrusy-hoppy, original aroma with exotic fruits and dandelions. Quite strongly hoppy, exotic-fruity and citrusy, dry flavor with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body, soft-carbonated, refreshing. A very nice and beautifully hoppy, dry summer ale.
