fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jan 17, 2008 Draught at Den Tatoverede Enke Beautiful red-amber color; creamy head. Very nice aroma, of fruity hops, and cereals. Quite good body strength, with a good malt and caramel flavor; the cereals feeling is a bit higher than usual. At the end there is a strong bitterness, both from the hops and the caramel, and a light hop fruitness. Very pleasant. faroeviking (4414), Faroese Autonomous Beer Republic, Denmark Jan 19, 2008 Draught. pours a clear amber colour with a medium well lasting creamish off-white head leaving a very good lacing. Fresh hoppy and pine aroma. Quite a good mouthfeel. The flavour is fresh and bitter with caramel, pine, a soft ripe frutiness and some maltiness. Well lasting dry and fruity finish. bager (2060), Copenhagen N, Denmark Feb 13, 2008 On tap @ DTE. Semi clear and golden coloured with a small whiteish head. Very nice body with notes of fruit, grass, pines, spicea and hints of citrus. Quite hoppy with a very nice balance. Skinnyviking (2725), Copenhagen, Denmark Jan 5, 2008 Draught @ Den Tatoverede Enke. Low but lasting creamy off-white head. Clear cobber body. Fruity barley malt aroma Relatively hoppy flavor with low carbonation and a lovely long bitter aftertaste. Would have expected some caramel as well but if it is there the hops makes it untastable. According to the brewer it consists of hops from 4 different countries and 3 different parts of the world. thewolf (3979), Kolding, Denmark Jan 15, 2008 Tap @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph. Pours a deep redish orange, few bubbles and lightly hazy. On top sits a great, beautiful, creamy (nearly) white head. Good duration. Aroma is fruity, grass, strawberries, caramel and light pine (overall, rather mild). Quite a full mouthfeel, though, and very dry and chewy. Flavour starts of on a sweetly caramel note, then turns on the powerful, dry, bitter hops, before finishing nice and soft with strawberries and pine-like hops. Incredibly levels between the taste expreiences and a very long aftertaste.
