zeke626 (221), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Mar 29, 2008 Thanks to akevitt for sharing. Bottle, batch 280. Pours a cloudy, orange-brown with white head. Aroma of malts along with floral hops and spices. Medium-bodied with a slightly fizzy, smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is mostly malts with an undertone of bitterness. Light hop bite with bitter aftertaste.
tlind2 (281), Helsinki, Finland Oct 13, 2008 500 ml bottle. Murky amber color, foamy off-white head. Hoppy aroma with some bright, fruity notes. Bitter flavor throughout, with some chalk and grapefruit in the mix as well. Slightly astringent mouthfeel when cold, but mellows out as it warms. Not my favorite, but not a bad beer either. mjs (582), Helsinki, Finland Oct 10, 2008 (Bottle on 2008-10-08) Amber. Slightly hazy. Very large slightly tan coloured head that lasts long. Light nose with malts and grass aromas. Medium bodied and dry palate with lot of carbonation. Grass, bitterness, malts and white bread in taste. Bitter and grassy aftertaste. garza (87), Caracas, Venezuela Oct 5, 2008 Like the name says, Bitter in all sense. At the beginning is very taste less, but when the beer starts to mix with the air in the glass all that bitter flavor comes out in the glass and in the mouth. Not my kind of beer, but a lot of people may like it. masto (77), Helsinki, Finland Sep 19, 2008 Ugly hazy amber, big white head. Fresh, light, flowery hop aroma. Fresh grapefruit hop taste. Soft, light, smooth palate. Nice bite in the finish. austone (463), Turku; Pori, Finland Sep 18, 2008 Amber, firm off-white head. Slightly yeasty, fresh citric aroma, nice maltiness. Flavor is toasty malty, grapefruit and grassy hops, little grain and yeast. Dry and well hopped, solid bitter. Much better when most of the yeast stays in the bottle.
