Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 10, 2005 An unclear orange beer with a disappearing head. The aroma is lovely hoppy combined with notes of flowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of honey, hops, and spices - I can’t make out the most dominant spice, but coriander is in there somewhere. Not a very wheaty wheat beer. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 25, 2005 Bottled at RBESG. Cloudy orange. Rich grapefruity hop aroma. Medium sweet and medium bodied. Very aromatic and strikingly hoppy without being overly bitter. Papsoe (10520), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 24, 2005 Updated: Jul 6, 2005(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy amber with some impurities. Almost no head. Indefinable caramel-like notes but not overwhelmingly aromatic. A wheat-beer - much to my surprise. 190305 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 9, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy and lighter orange than the 2007 version. Light spiced, hoppy aroma. Flavour is bitterhops, citrus fruity and a bit sharply spiced. Ends with a lingering spice note. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 20, 2005 Hazy golden colour with a small fast disappearing head.
Aroma is dominated by hops with notes of grass and grapefruit.
Hoppy flavour with notes of toffee, grapefruit and spices.
Not a ordinary wheat bee, but something in between a pale ale and a wheat beer. Interesting.
