Ungstrup (11408), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 25, 2004 [At Jyske Øldage 2004, Kolding] An unclear orange beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by hops. The flavor is sweet hoppy and quite dry all the way thru, but especially in the end. An OK IPA, but I’ve tasted better. omhper (10731), Stockholm, Sweden May 17, 2004 Updated: Jun 27, 2005Sampled cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Hazy amber. Grapefruity hop aroma. Richly malty, citric and potent. Dense, firm maltiness, slightly fruity. Aromatic, bitter finish. American style, both when it comes to hop and malt profile. Papsoe (10580), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 12, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a hazy amber golden with an off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Full-bodied with a nice caramel sweetness fully balanced by a solid dose of aroma hops also leaving quite some bitterness. Perhaps I could have hoped fo a cleaner, more subtle hoppiness. But neat indeed. A gigantic, lumpy sediment at the bottom. 120406 yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Mar 10, 2008 50 cL bottle, batch 261. Pours hazy orange with a bobbly and collapsing white head. Aroma is pine and solid caramel malty. Flavour is dry malty, caramel and light fruity. Dry and hoppy finish, mild woody. joergen (6529), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 21, 2004 Orange beer with off white head.
Powerfull aroma with lots of hops, aroma hops and pine needles. Nice malty flavour with notes of pine needles, that ends up with a powerfull hoppy bitterness.
