haukur (669), Reykjavik, Iceland Oct 11, 2008 black, small but firm film of head. Aroma of roasted nuts, roasted malt, coffe beans and something you would find at a burning fireplace. Taste is a bit hoppy, with tangling carbonation. Well balanced, long aftertaste of mocca, malts and hops. Very nice example of the style minch25 (190), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 3, 2008 Black; creamy tan head. Rich depth of dark malts. Dry, bitter, rich; creamy. It tastes like licorice, bitter chocolate and roasted malts. I thought it would be more complex but pretty good porter.
