Plimmer (243), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 10, 2008 Bottle 60cl. Clear orange/amber body with medium size off white head. Hops and alcohol in the nose. Thick body with lots of alcohol in the flavour. Oily aftertaste. One of the worst danish IPA i have testet.
Mitch_Wayne (104), Kokkola, Finland Aug 15, 2008 Huh this is strangely ull bodied stuff. But I need some more hops and bitterness, the name is pure false advertising. I’d take a yankie IPA any day over this but drinking this was an interesting experience anyhow... Pinball (429), Allerød, Denmark Jun 18, 2008 bottle 0.6cl irma. Aroma a bit weak for an ipa, but what thre is, is oaky. looks great, very clear and nice off-white head. flaveor is sweet, sugar, honey, and a little hoppy bitterness. flavor is a little bit watery, esp. if it is cold. sort of like if a very good ipa had been mixed with water. alc. totally hidden, very drinkable. when it has heated up a bit it’s a totally different beer, much better. SDbruboy (1821), San Diego, California, USA Jun 4, 2008 60 cl bottle, from Norrebro Bryghus brewpub location. Clear dark amber, large beige head that diminishes rather quickly to a thin skin. Muted aroma of toasty malts, ash and light florals. Flavor is quite different for an IPA, biscuity, somewhat summery fruity malts, floral and mild citrus notes are overshadowed by a weird ashy metallic taste, that fortunately diminishes as it warms, finishes with lingering bitter herbiness. Medium body and lively carbonation. Not my style of IPA, I prefer their Gold Spike version much more. JK54B (303), Finland Jun 2, 2008 Light brown colour. A thin head. SOme hints of toffee in the taste. Some bitterness also. Not a very special one.
