Nørrebro Double Knot Brown

Draught @ Nørrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen. Unclear amber, nutty brown color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy nutty, moderate malty, roasted, light hoppy, dry fruit, dust. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (170308)

Draught. High light brown lasting creamy head. Clear dark red brown body. Coffee choccolate caramel aroma and flavor. Mild and smooth with low carbonation and a long aftertaste.

(Draught at Nörrebro Bryghus, Copenhagen, 28 March 2008) Reddish brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, chocolate and toffee. Malty taste with dark berries and fruit, cherries, toffee and chocolate. Nice, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, rather sweet. Tasty and nice brown ale.

Beautiful amber red with a slight haze to it. A big, creamy beige head on top - stunning duration and very dense and consistent. Aroma is mild, lightly roasted, some chocolate and alittle coffee. Rather lively mouthfeel at first, then settles nicely and becomes okay creamy. Flavoru is well-balanced, lots of chocolate peeping through, some off-flavours from the yeast mix in, but overall, this is nice - especially the aftertaste; long, chocolate balance. Good.

Draught @ Nørrebro Small off-white head that mostly diminished. Spare lacework. Mahogany color. Roasted malt, light coffee and chocolate. Some fruity notes in there as well. Hint of yeast. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor with a soft carbonation. Light coffee like finish.
