romabrew99 (2), Delaware, Italy does not count May 20, 2008 This is the 2nd best American IPA that was ever made in Europe... SO whats next on tap? Maria (4418), Thisted, Denmark Jun 1, 2008 Light golden with a creamy head. The aroma is inviting, hoppy with notes of citrus and a touch of caramel. The flavour is nicely hopped with notes of spruce, mange, papaya, pine, citrus and sweet caramel. The finish has a piny touch and is quite dry. I’m impressed by all the flavour in this only 5.5% beer, it’s really, really nice! thewolf (3979), Kolding, Denmark May 18, 2008 Tap @ Aarhus, 2008.
Pours lightly hazy yellow-golden with a small, creamy, lightly off-white head. Aroma is a barrage of hops. pine, grapefruit dominate. Wonderful, dry mouthfeel. Flavour is astoundingly hoppy, pine dominates, some fruity hops to give softness. Super dryness. this is surely one of the best American style IPA’s I’ve ever had.
