Jul 17, 2005 My favorite beer from this brewery. It was mightily malty, and had very little bitterness. I could drink vats of this stuff. It’s not particularly Irish, IMHO. Think of it as a plain old ale.

Apr 19, 2007 Fine deep amber with a a nice light brown head. Discreet fresh hobby aroma. Stunning flavor, nice bitterness from the hobs, with grabe and citrus notes adding to the mouth aroma, balanced by a really nice maltblend that gives the beer an extremly smooth sweetness. Like drinking candy for grownups, has a warm finish too - awsome

Sep 27, 2003 Draught: Dark red/amber coloured. Hazy. Quickly diminishing white head. Malty, sweet and flowery. Flavour is malty and flowery (ester?) as well. Is light bitter in the end. Very drinkable.

May 6, 2006 Lighr brown head on a red amber body. Thoroughly enjoyable, sweet caramel, fruity, excellent for starters or lighter food.
