Black, creamy beige head. Rich coffee aroma. Soft coffee porter taste. Very full bodied and succulent. Rich roastiness, quite sweet, no sharp edges. All round solid brew.

Sep 17, 2008 Black w/ nicely lacing beige head. Lightly burned, cocoa butter and dry coffee aroma. Lame, cocoa and stale coffee flavor, little hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Silky, but very dull porter.

Aug 31, 2008 From bottle : Pours dark black, with a thin light brown color head, that dissapates quickly. Nose of coffee, nuts, and caramel toffee. Feel is pretty smooth in the mouth, with a bite toward the end. Coffee bean flavors, with some liquorice toward the back end. Not much aftertaste whatsoever. Smooth palate with a medium to thin body. Another middle of the road porter.
