yousee (48), Belgium May 14, 2007 Draught, Copenhague beerfestival 2007. Poors a dark amber coloured beer with a beige creamy head. Overpowering malty aromas yet sweet with a fruity touch. The taste is overpowering malty again, overall sweet with scents of fruits and a touch of cinnamon. Well balanced, alcohol well hidden.
JK54B (303), Finland May 28, 2008 Cloudy brown colour. Sweet malty nose. Not very much carbonation. Something missing from the taste. mjs (524), Helsinki, Finland Apr 26, 2008 (Draught at Pikkulintu on 2008-01-26) Nice Belgian taste achieved. Lots of malts which give sweetness. Pleasant hops. fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 18, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Cloudy dark red-amber color. It’s a spicy yet sweet Strong Belgian Ale, with a late orange touch. Not impressive. Defreni (482), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 7, 2008 Fad. Very (dark-)fruity aroma with yeast and sweet maltiness. Semi-sweet-malty flavor with some acidity, hints of diacetyl, and alcohol burn. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. A smooth and enjoyable brew, but could hide the alcohol better. I’d have another one any day, though.
