2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
For starters as a Pilsener this is pretty decent. It leans towards a Golden Ale without going all the way. The yeast presence gives a little support. Medium Gold with a frothy, lasting, sticky, lacy white head. Smells of yeast, butter, corn with nice peach fruitiness and some general background citrus. Again more like a Golden Ale. Thin light body with lively carbonation. Tastes of yeast like they didn’t filter it right but the glass is clear so I guess they did. Lots of fruit with a background of astringent lingering. Decent balance but overall just alright. Probably a Golden Ale with pilsner elements rather than vice-versa.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Big yeast upfront, buttery, some corny notes, too. Thin, pale yellow. Flavor is again yeast, then some pils-like notes in mid, and goes flat in final. Thin-medium body. Not really bad, but not so good. Beers from this brewery are nearly always characterized by very strong yeast aromas and flavors.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Liquor Mountain.
Strong house yeast signature, tastes more like an ale. Fruity, spicy, not much like any pilsner I have tried. Yeast with strong hops and a good finish, but weird. Not terrible, but what is it really?
