A fantastic session pale ale with a slight sweetness from the Caragold malt. It has a dry finish from the Magnum bittering hop. It carries a light grapefruit and citrus aroma, born from the USA cascade hop used.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2015 Cask, Half, Chelmsford, Alehouse, 6th June 2015. White lacing and a golden appearence. Aroma is fresh Spring dew, flowers and lemons. Taste is lemons, honey, moderate hops, could do with a lot more and some moderate bitterness. Ok but doesn’t excite me too much.

330ml bottle. Pours well with cream coloured head. On the nose dried fruit, with a clean and distinct hoppy aroma. Taste of caramel and grapefruit, with a pleasant and rewarding, clean finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottled, 330ml from Trafalgar Wine, Brighton. Hazy pale gold with slight head. Light and fairly thin beer with a toffee’d background. Some sweetness, a little light lemony note from the hops. All somewhat understated for me although still drinkable.

Bottle at the Bag O,Nails, Bristol 30/6/2014. Pale gold with a tight white head and moderate carbonation. Easy drinking pale ale, with some grassy hops, citrus and pineapple notes and decent, dryish, finish. Well balanced, with a lot going on. Very good.
