3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask at The Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear straw yellow with a thin broken white head and bags of broken lace. The aroma is malty with citrus notes. The flavour is sharp and bitter with a mild grapefruit palate. A very drinkable session ale with a good hop combination.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Pale gold with an off white head. Aromas are lemon and dusty yeast with grapefruit. Low toast malts with spices including hints of ginger. Flavours are dry toasted malts with bitter lemon and grapefruit. Dry woody notes with lots of herbal, spicy aspects. Lightly nutty with a dry, peppery finish. Nice.
