Golden amber in color, clear with a thin head. Big hops aroma and flavor. Nice flavors and being all Chinook hops this was very tasty.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Brave Horse Tavern, Seattle. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden, some persistent white head. Aroma is not as strong as I thought it would be considering that it’s an all Chinook hopped pale ale. Some piney notes, non-distinct citrus, and a little dusty hay. Malt balance leans toward clean malt a little light caramel, fairly crisp. Medium-light body and it finishes decently dry. I was really expecting a bigger Chinook hop character all things considered.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at NCBC. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold with a loose white head that goes away. Mild piney nose with some lettuce and grass showing as well. Creamy medium body with lively carb. Toast, nuts, lettuce, and grass on the mid palate, with a nicely bracing piney resin finish.
